What are the parts of a plant?

Invite pupils to put the parts of the plant together, then label each part.

How to use this resource

  1. Print resource
  2. Ask pupils to complete the activity in groups of 3-4, giving each group a set of cards to assemble. Alternatively you could give each pupil a piece of the plant and ask them to find others with the parts they need to make up a whole plant
  3. Encourage groups to feedback to the class

Background

Plants are living things. Each part of the plant has a different job to help it to grow, stay healthy and reproduce. The main parts of a plant include are the roots, stems, leaves, and flowers.
