Background

We see trees around us every day, but how often do you stop and think about what’s going on inside a tree, or how they help us and other living things? Trees are vital to life on Earth, providing habitats and food for other species, taking in carbon dioxide and releasing oxygen. When you look closely at trees you will discover an amazing and beautiful variety of leaf shapes, bark patterns, seeds and flowers.
